This example shows how images exported from TopoToImage can be used to create three dimensional maps using a 3D program. To make this image I exported a color image and a gray scale image from TopoToImage. I used Lightwave 3D to create this example, but it should be possible in most modern 3D programs. The color image was loaded as a texture on a flat polygon. The grayscale image was applied as a displacement map, creating the 3D geometry.
